OK guys so this is my first review so please don’t be to hard with me. today I want to write about the Omron HJ-112 Digital Pedometer. For sure one of the best selling pedometers in all sports shops around the US and in online stores like Amazing. Wel, the reality is that I really like this new Omron HJ-112 Digital Pedometer! It is a pretty cool pedometer! It’s the best the price, it’s very affordable. I’ve spent as it keeps me motivated to stay active. I assume my pedometer right when I escape of bed and take it off right as I assume bed.
I’ve had this pedometer for a few weeks now and absolutely adore it. The numbers are large, easy to read and the buttons all are easy to press yet rarely resets by accident. There are two clips so this doesn’t pop off my waistband and get lost. … (and oabviously this is a great point specially when I go for trainning in places like the beach and the park)
This pedometer will only record steps after it counts about four to make sure that you’re really moving. It will also count aerobic steps (if you move constantly for a certain number of minutes), calories burned (based on the weight you program in) and miles (supported the stride length you program in). One really nice feature is that it will remember the last seven days of steps and reset automatically at midnight. Before I bought this pedometer, I’d have to write my daily step count in my planner daily. At once, I can barely come out on Monday and recall my step counts during the whole weekend (great for tracking what I want to walk during these days). So overall: It is a pretty good deal, and a way easier pedometer to use than many others out there in the market.
This unit is also silent. There’s no mechanistic clicking sound as you take a step. It seems to have more nonmoving parts and so have less to break. Lastly, it will count steps as long as it Is not laid flat. This means that you are able to have it in your shorts pocket when you run and don’t have to have it clipped to your waistband. That’s why this is such a great product overall, it seems that Omron really knew what they where doing with this amazing little gadget.
On the not so possitive side, this unit is quite large for a pedometer. About the size of a beeper but thinner. This combined with a belt clip that processes friction and doesn’t have a positive latch, arrives prone to working its way off your belt. Mine has slumped once on pavement but it didn’t damage the unit the least bit. As mentioned earlier, while running, I would like to put into my shorts pocket. While fairly large, it Is not big the least bit and then I hardly notice it while running.
I would definitely recommend this pedometer to someone who needs memory and wants a reliable unit. The distance and calories are also a nice touch and the pedometer in a few words works fantastic, it is what I expected and more. I really can’t complain at all about the Omron HJ-112 Digital Pedometer.

The new Omron pedometer is on my “wish-list” of things to buy for my training, so I’m glad to read a review about it. I like the fact that it doesn’t pop off or fall off in the middle of training; one of my biggest pet peeves when purchasing a pedometer.
I think what you meant with amazing online stores is amazon online store isn’t it?
don’t be sad just because the number back to zero, please, you already do a great job to waster your calorie back there, that is nothing to worry about the zero,it wont make your fat you waste back to your muscle
I agree you had wasting your time just to write your daily step count and then add it with your health plan,I am glad you have the pedometer to save your time,as I don’t think needed as well,it necessary to count all the number step you make with that tools supervisor
they did great job not to sell pedometer that clicking, but since you said it is big, that is revision they should made, once most of the consumer stated that big is not better
I think you are wonderful client and what most all company will want ,once you have bold some negatives side about this brands and still you asked no refund or rate it negatively at the first sentence you made this review
